Things to know
Test Information:
The exam will test the electrician’s knowledge of the design, plan, installation, repair, and alterations of electrical conductors, fixtures, appliances, apparatus, conduit and equipment that use electricity for light, power, data, and communications. The electrician will have to be able to quickly find the answer to any question asked in the time allowed.
Specifics of Exam:
Most exams are now given open book and usually on a computer, each municipality, and state have different set ups but if you properly study that should not matter how the test is given.
